Italy: two lesbians attacked

“I hate gays and lesbians … you are the devil’s prostitutes … God hates you.” These would be some of the sentences addressed to two girls from Agrigento by a sixty-year-old man.
The homophobic aggression, both physical and verbal, took place last June 30 in a large Villaseta sales facility. The two young girlfriends say they were getting an ice cream from the bar when a sixty-year-old appeared holding hands with two children. After staring at them for a few minutes, he started screaming insults and curses, coming even to slap one of them, the girls told the carabinieri. Some people present came to help and the attacker quickly disappeared without a trace.

“Odio gay e lesbiche… siete le prostitute del diavolo… Dio vi odia”. Sarebbero queste alcune delle frasi rivolte nei confronti di due ragazze agrigentine da un uomo sessantenne.
L’aggressione omofoba, sia fisica che verbale, sarebbe avvenuta lo scorso 30 giugno in una grande struttura di vendita di Villaseta. Le due giovani fidanzate, a quanto raccontano, stavano prendendo un gelato al bar quando appunto è apparso un sessantenne che teneva per mano due bambini. Dopo averle fissate per qualche minuto ha iniziato ad urlare insulti e maledizioni, arrivando, raccontano le ragazze ai carabinieri, anche a dare uno schiaffo ad una di loro. Ad intervenire in loro soccorso sono arrivate alcune persone presenti e l’aggressore si sarebbe rapidamente dileguato senza lasciare traccia.
