Italy: lesbian beaten by two boys

Giulia Ventura is a thirty year old lesbian, which was enough for two boys to kick and punch her. Her swollen face and broken nasal septum – Giulia shared the signs of the violence and the hospital report on Facebook.

“It was Wednesday night – she says – I was walking in this wonderful city of Potenza, with my blue headphones in my ears. I heard someone talk at me and, not understanding what was happening, I removed my headphones. I see two boys who crossed the road and stood in front of me, blocking me. I asked them what the problem was and after two shoves that knocked me down, still conscious I hear a phrase: “People like you have to die. Do you want to be a boy? I will show you how men do it.”

That’s when the nightmare began. “I don’t have time to reply”, Giulia continues “the first punch breaks my lip, the second was at my nose, the third my eye. I got up and tried to defend myself with a headbutt that I think broke my admirer’s nose, but then I fell. I felt two kicks, one in my ribs and one on my shoulder. Then I passed out.”

Giulia Ventura ha trent’anni ed è lesbica. Tanto è bastato due ragazzini per prenderla a calci e pugni. Il volto tumefatto, il setto nasale rotto. Giulia mostra i segni della violenza subita e il referto dell’ospedale su Facebook.

“Era mercoledì sera – racconta – cammino a piedi, in questa meravigliosa città di Potenza, con le mie cuffiette blu nelle orecchie, sento qualcuno blaterare verso di me, non capendo cosa stesse accadendo, mi tolgo le cuffiette e vedo due ragazzini che, attraversando la strada e si mettono di fronte a me, intralciandomi il passaggio. Chiedo loro che problemi avessero e dopo due spintoni che mi hanno atterrata, ancora cosciente sento una frase: “Le persone come te devono morire, vuoi fare il maschio? E mo ti faccio vede come abbuscano i maschi”.
È allora che comincia l’incubo. “Non ho il tempo di rispondere – continua Giulia – che il primo pugno mi rompe il labbro, il secondo il naso, il terzo l’occhio. Mi alzo e cerco di difendermi con una testata che credo abbia rotto il naso al mio ammiratore, ma poi cado. Sento due calci, uno sulla costola e uno sulla spalla. Svengo”.
