Chile: brutal lesbophobic attack on lesbian couple

A couple of women reported having been victims of a brutal attack in the [Santiago] Bellavista neighborhood on Sunday, assuring that two men beat them and beat them against a wall. Those affected, identified as Catalina and Camila , filed a complaint with the PDI after the violent beating they were subjected to, according to them, only because they were homosexual. “Two guys intercepted us in the back attacking us brutally, hit my head against the wall, shouting ‘disgusting lesbians, maracas culias’ and an endless number of other insults,” said Catalina.

Una pareja de mujeres denunció haber sido víctimas de una brutal agresión en pleno barrio Bellavista el pasado domingo, asegurando que dos sujetos las golpearon y azotaron en contra de una muralla. Las afectadas, identificadas como Catalina y Camila, interpusieron una denuncia ante la PDI luego de la violenta golpiza de la que fueron objeto, según ellas, solo por ser homosexuales. “Dos tipos nos interceptaron por la espalda atacándonos brutalmente, azotaron mi cabeza contra la muralla, gritándonos ‘lesbianas asquerosas, maracas culias’ y un sin fin de insultos más”, sostuvo Catalina
