Chile: sushi restaurant expels lesbians for hugging

local sushi expulsan lesbianas

We have become aware of another lesbophobic incident which occurred in Chile. A video went viral on social networks in which two women alleged that they were discriminated against for their sexual orientation in a Peruvian food and sushi restaurant called Saki, in the heart of Santiago.

Through her Instagram account, one of the affected women alleged that the cashier told them that they could not be “hugging” because, according to them, it was inappropriate for them to do so in front of a girl who was eating at the store.

At one point in the video, one of the women speaks directly to the girl asking if the situation “affected her” in any way – to this the girl makes a clear sign denying any possible harm from the events.
