Italian council vice-president: “kill them all lesbians, gays and paedophiles”

“And these scum continue undeterred. kill them all [these] lesbians, gays and paedophiles”. The shock sentence is signed by the vice-president of the [Vercelli] municipal council, Giuseppe Cannata, elected from the ranks of Brothers of Italy. This is how, on Facebook, Cannata commented on a post by Senator Pillon.
The post was then deleted, in a hurry but too late. Arcigay Rainbow Vercelli Valsesia, which published the screenshot, is already asking for his resignation both from the city council and from his role as vice president. But he also asks for his immediate expulsion from the medical association, adding that legal actions are under consideration in which the board itself could become a civil party.

Il post è stato poi cancellato, in tutta fretta ma è troppo tardi. Arcigay Rainbow Vercelli Valsesia, che ne pubblica lo screenshot, chiede già le dimissioni sia dal consiglio comunale che da suo ruolo di vice presidente. Ma ne chiede anche la sua immediata espulsione dall’ordine dei medici, aggiungendo che si stanno valutando azioni legali in cui lo stesso direttivo potrebbe costituirsi parte civile.
